EFR First Aid

Emergency First Response gives you the tools you need to perform CPR and First Aid primary and secondary care. Whether you're a diver or a non-diver, being an Emergency First Responder prepares you to professionally handle potentially life-threatening situations and to create the confidence to care. As an EFR you will be responsible for maintaining a first aid kit so it becomes second nature and having the confidence to act when it matters.

What will I do?
This comprehensive program is composed of two core modules that can be taught together or as stand-alone courses: Emergency First Response - Primary Care and Emergency First Response - Secondary Care. Together, these courses provide extensive instruction in CPR and First Aid, as well as providing optional (yet recommended) Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

How long will it take to complete the EFR First Aid courses?
Depending on the amount of home study, the Primary and Secondary courses maybe completed in as little as four hours.

Certification:
Upon successful completion of the EFR Primary/Secondary Care Course you will be issued with the EFR Primary (CPR) and Secondary (First Aid) Certification card but you will be required to update every two years. Although it is not an approved HSE qualification, all attendees will receive a credit card size certificate.
