PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Specialty:
The PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Specialty shows you how to care for a diver following a diving incident where oxygen first aid treatment is necessary. This is a very worthwhile course to complete with the Emergency First Response Course. You will cover the basic skills of identifying a diver with decompression illness/sickness and practice giving the appropriate oxygen treatment for each case.
BSAC Oxygen Administration:
To teach the administration of oxygen as a means of increasing the effectiveness of First Aid treatment of diving accidents.
It is implicit in this definition that the treatment takes place on the surface, either in a boat or on dry land. There is no question of administering oxygen to a submerged diver.
You must me a member of Le Bourg Divers or BSAC to do this course.
